WCR Forums Email Issue

We had an issue for 2 days in which the outbound mail server for the forums was not working. I have re-routed outbound email to one of my servers as the issue with the other server remains unknown. Email from the forums will now have a return address of wcr@pageland.com. As soon as I can gain access...

The mail for WCR still routes through one of Rollies mail servers. I reached out to him about the issue. But in the meantime, I am changing outbound email to one of my servers. This should resolve.

Excellent information bringoutyourdead. I think as the roll for 5.4 approaches, we should get a better idea of what the in game data will look like and then we can figure out the best way to update the web site for Virtual Realms. I hope the Virtual Realms do have some sort of lookup based on the Ba...

Ok, I think the error was from MySQL not liking the time change at all. I had to restart MySQL. And in regards to Belair - I located an internal TimeZone variable that I have updated to Los_Angeles rather than Chicago time. I believe the two reported issues are fixed. Please let me know if you see a...

Hi There. Time is always server time. That is what I tell my raiders.

But for WCR, I just set the time to PST. This should match with its location and hopefully will make all the forums happy.

Seeing into the future is awesome though Bringoutyourdead ;)

Hi There, Thanks a lot. I am aware of this issue. I have been stomping out a lot of other display and formatting bugs on other pages. This one however is a bit more tricky, I do plan to revisit this again in the near future but I don't want to break how things are working now. I am happy with the sp...

That was very helpful. Apparently I had removed one too many letters from the Server. The above links are now working perfectly.

Thanks for taking the time to report.

Thanks for the report. I have updated the armory links for the guild and character pages to the new WoWArmory format.

I believe all the Armory links are now working.

I believe a recent update this week is to blame for these numbers. I have reverted the file processing module to the version that was working on Monday. I will more thoroughly investigate tomorrow. In completely unrelated news, wead a great night of raiding. We got ToE25 Normal 3/4 and almost the 4t...

I have temporarily reverted back to the version that was being used on Monday. I know I am very close to the spot that performs the transfer of temporary data records into the large history table.

Thanks for the info, sorry for any temporary inconvenience.

I have spent considerable time this week on the character update portion of the upload processing. It appears that when moving to the new server, that some of the table designations did not transfer properly. I believe that it is now showing updates on the character sheet. http://www.warcraftrealms....

I believe the overall upload process is very stable now and processing is working well. Except for the continued issue with the character history table. I have assigned a developer from my web team to assist with this issue.

I hope to have the history issue resolved this next week.
