I know about the shadowpriest thingy with warlocks.
But in my guild only 1 shadowpriest went along. 1 is enough to keep 5/5 shadowweavering up, and you'd better take an extra warlock/mage/rogue/huntard with you to dps.
I know this is sad, but to get the max out of your raids...
I'd say, buff the shadowpriests damage PvE wise, so they can be compared with other magic dps classes.

I personally think The Armory is a great idea. I love it.
I still love Warcraft Realms though! I started playing WoW again after a few months of neglect, and as soon as I saw The Armory I knew I needed to come here and help out Warcraft Realms with some submissions... something I haven't been doing lately.
As Rollie stated, there is really two different sets of information being gathered and displayed. The only effect I see is maybe Rollie starts to focus a bit more on the core aspects of WR. Not saying Rollie is doing a bad job, but maybe The Armory can give him direction on how to improve WR.
Rollie, keep up the great job.

Hmm, on the one hand I like this armory thing.
But on the other, I don't think it fully replaces CTprofiles. Nowadays, people have different 'sets' of gear for different purposes, even more so than before the expansion. This armory doesn't keep track of that at all.
Also, showing you with buffs, I think, is not a really bright idea. Who knows what you had active on you when you logged?
BTW, I'm a lock who doesn't love shadow priests anymore. I am more inclined towards fire mages (argh, I do hope my guildies NEVER get to read this last line...
), since finally we got a decent fire option.

Now that it has been out for a little bit, I have to admit that being able to look at people's gear on the Armory is really nice. I haven't even been playing my 70 and have been spending most of my time on my 29 priest twink. I just look up other players that give me a hard time and see what enchants and gear they got. This site just doesn't offer me that kind of information and since I am happy with my realm I have no use for census information.
I do like the Armory, yeah, really wish it had some way of accounting for sets though, as I usually log my priest out in her dps gear (it looks better so I wear it in town
), so no-one looking at it can see my healing gear and I can't check my healing stats without being logged ingame. Also really really wish that the talents would load for me, they never ever work, even though everything else does

Yeah, the whole sets thing is definitely a downside to the armory. It doesn't make a difference on my hunter (since I've only got 2-3 pieces I switch out for set bonuses when the need arises), but on my druid and paladin it's definitely a pain. I still use it mostly to look at other people's talent specs for ideas, though...

with talents they have the same casting time, but SB gets more % of ur spelldmg. If you got enough spelldmg SB will out dps and out dpm(ana) Inercate anytimeparvatiquinta wrote:BTW, I'm a lock who doesn't love shadow priests anymore. Well, I'm happy with my realm too, but I do love census information about it. Plus, a couple of times it really helped me finding a dude I had spoken to, but whose name I coudln't remember well (and I'm terrible with names).oiseaux wrote:This site just doesn't offer me that kind of information and since I am happy with my realm I have no use for census information.
Well, being full destro, I went for the spellfire set (I'm still gathering mats for the vest because I've been 'slacking' on grinding for a time, but I'll be there soon), so of course shadow bolt gets left behind. And if I have to put a curse, it'll be CoE since it also boosts Immolate, Conflagrate (my all-time favouriteBabs wrote:with talents they have the same casting time, but SB gets more % of ur spelldmg. The only thing I'm a bit emo about is I'm becoming a paper lock...
