Out of town for a few days

Post by Rollie »

So I leave Saturday and won't be back until Sunday of next week. I leave you in the capable hands of our mod crew to make sure that you guys don't wreck the place ;p

So that's why I won't likely be posting or around for a few days. Just an FYI!

what kind of vacation will allow him to be out of the internet for more than a week? 3rd world country, camping, or family obligations that strictly enforced during said vacation....

dude, rollie, I may be drunk, but lets get some pizza sometime & hang out.

Hehe, I'd be down for that! It's hard to catch me away from work or family these days though =/ Lunch would be the best bet!

I was down in Mexico. Not quite 3rd world. We even had wireless available in the lobby of the hotel, I just made it a point to stay unplugged =)

awesomeness. I went down to veracruz about 2 years ago for a family reunion, was hard to stay connected, since I didn't have a laptop w/ wifi. After the first couple of days, the urge to hop online is barely lingering in your system. I did find a phone booth/internet station there but it was hard to type with metal keys and they had a wacky mexican keyboard layout. Last year, I made it a point to go to a internet cafe every other day, wasn't as bad. :)

Yeah, was definitely nice to be away from the net for a little bit, it's refreshing :P Not that I didn't enjoy coming back, of course, but a little break can always help ;)
