Been having a good read of the info and I'm getting excited already :) Wasn't too keen initially, but seeing screenies etc makes it look really cool. I've always preferred levelling to endgame, so bring it on!

The Deathknight looks pretty sweet! Tho I'm not sure how it would work with Mages tho... They seem more melee type class, and I would be interested to seeing how Mages are turned into a Deathknight.... thats if its possible because I thought I read somewhere that it was available to everyone and every class =/

You don't turn your old character into the deathknight; you unlock the ability to make a new character as a deathknight instead, so the issues of how to turn various classes into deathknights won't come up. Nice that it's on a per-account basis, but annoying that they've said they don't plan to give any more character slots... time to move something off my first account onto my 2nd one I guess, as my first one's full :?

Course they are also saying that the Death Knight will start out at higher level, likely between 60 - 70. A bit of a write up here:

Hmmm, I wonder if they will increase the number of character slots per server... and if you will need to do 25-man or hero content to unlock the death knight...

They've said no more character slots, which I'm not happy with as my main account is already full... guess I need to reroll one of my lowbies over to my 2nd account, sigh. Won't take any raids for the quest, as they said it was open to non-raiders too, but heroics seems fairly likely to me.

Ouch, so creating a death knight means rerolling a 60+ for me, ah well, not likely to be able to meet the requirements for it anyway so I guess it's a moot point. Seems they liked the reception Burning Crusade got as this is very similar in size, features and format, from a business standpoint I'm sure that more of the same is the way to go but it doesn't reflect well on the competition that there is no game out there yet giving WoW a run for its money.
