What is the most popular/busiest realm?

Post by xShadow »

I live in Canada Eastern Standard Time zone and I'm looking for the most popular/busiest realm with alot of people mostly go to. The reason why I'm asking this because I'm buying the original/classic version of World of Warcraft soon and I like to play with alot of people.

When you first start playing WoW you will be shown a realm selection screen. Just choose any that are marked HIGH or even FULL (but you might get denied or suffer Queue delays on those)

Just be aware that If you are only running the Original WoW without any expansion packs you will be blocked from a number of areas in the game. Primary would be having a level cap of 60. Looking at any of the server census pages on this site will show you (hover your mouse over the level bars section on the page) that most players will be above level 60 (actually more then 1/2 will be at or above level 80) and probably playing in areas of the world you won't be able to access.

But don't worry there are always new players and experienced ones playing Alts (characters that aren't their main top character).

To be sure to have someone to play with.. watch the /1 chat channel while you start learning how to play your character .. say through level 10.. see which Guilds are recruiting and if they looking interesting ask to join them. Playing with guildmates is the best way to play. Otherwise as you are playing see who is in your area and near your level and ask them if they want to party up for playing. You can see who is in the same Zone and close to you in level by starting a chat and entering on the chat line

/Who

by default the results returned will be level limited to a few above and below your level in the same zone you are in.
