Some of the commentary is pretty funny... but on slightly more serious note, those pieces of info aren't enough. Most language don't really cover the concept of female monk... as in, females get called nuns and such, not monks. The WoW class doesn't separate by gender in English, but some of the other languages might... and how that is implemented, remains to be seen.

It's entirely possible that some languages get class names that are not an alteration of the male class, but an entirely different word. If there ever was a Finnish translation of WoW, the class would most likely have names "munkki" and "nunna" depending on character gender. "Munk(k)itar" or something similar would both look and sound weird to a native speaker.

Those who have the inscription skills... aren't inscripters, inscriptionists, inscriptioneers or something else in that vein, either. And, at least to my knowledge, female scribe isn't turned into scribess or something such, either. Similarly, though I on occasion see such names, there aren't any blacksmithers, alchemistionists, tailorers or herbaneers, either.

In German, king and queen are "König" and "Königin", but I don't think the queen of say, Great Britain, would be very amused if someone called her "your royal king(n)ess" or announced her as "her majesty, the king(n)ess of Great Britain" or even worse "her majesty, the kinky of Great Britain".

It isn't a big thing for me, but it will be integral for the addon... Remains to be seen whether we get something along the lines of "Moina", "Mönchin", "Monja", "Monga" and "Monaca" or something else entirely.

I do hope that players using language packs would provide corrections and additions as needed with grammatical gender languages. (Something that the English language mostly ignores.)

As far as the Korean, I only included that because Rollie still has it in his Localization.lua file.

Considering the major problems of trying to merge into one database and/or one site multiple languages with vastly different character sets, I don't expect Rollie to ever really support the non-latin character set languages.

Maybe someday Rollie will get an alliance offer that he could accept from Russian, Chinese, Korean programmers and/or website owners to run their version of warcraftrealms in these languages and merge/share the statistics data between all of versions. (But I wouldn't hold my breath on that... it isn't like this website is a source of income for Rollie, he has sunk a lot of time, effort and money into it and it is his baby.. )

I didn't find any difference in "Portuguese - Brazil" and "Portuguese - Brazil UE", and the same with "Spanish" and "Spanish - Latin", but they are listed as different language packs (and downloaded seperately), so I included them anyway..

Thise words should be the most important to get CensusPlus up and running smoothly....

Hopefully, Rollie will soon(tm) put it to good use...

Pandaren being a word made up by Blizzard has no localizations.

Portuguese is an interesting language in that the two major users: Portugal and Brazil drifted apart over the centuries. In 1911 Portugal decided to create an official standard for the language... but Brazil wasn't involved and they created their own standard in 1938. As of 1990 all seven Portuguese speaking countries agreed to a single standard that was suppose to go into effect as of 2009. I wouldn't be surprised to find that Blizzards translations aren't fully correct or accepted by all the language users.

Spanish orthography on the other hand has been well established by the Spanish Royal Academy. There were some attempts by Latin Americans to create changes in the standard but those all failed.

I've not seen any chatter from Brazil and no localization info corrections for Portuguese.

I didn't know that the Italian realms are open... or probably they aren't but the language pack is there.
