So with all my uploaded data now processed, I went back to see how it looked. For some reason the increments of my main's 85-90 journey are not registered, nor are they for a couple others I know who hit 90 in the first few days.
I was copying files out every few hours to try to increment the people who hit 90 early. For instance, I have 8 files for the 25th, 10 for the 26th, 10 for the 27th, and 8 for the 28th. Yet my main (click my profile to the left, main is Averiy) simply shows 85 on (or before) the 25th, and 90 on the 28th. Nothing in between.
A couple more examples: First, my friend who I leveled with. Everything he did, I did, and we leveled within (at most, toward the end) an hour of each other. His name is Fellaxe, on Earthen Ring (http://www.warcraftrealms.com/charsheet/482897). If you look, same deal. 85 prior to the 25th, 90 on the 28th, nothing in between. Two more examples are Murlen (http://www.warcraftrealms.com/charsheet/2331009) and Lamisa (http://www.warcraftrealms.com/charsheet/131643597), two hunters in my guild who hit 90 very early. Same deal with them.
A contra-example would be a monk in my guild, Hisae (http://www.warcraftrealms.com/charsheet/164960218), who RAF leveled his toon to 80, and then leveled naturally from there. His history shows him at 82 on the 25th, and his leveling progression is quite visible from there, with 2 or 3 entries for each level over the next three days.
I'm really kinda disappointed that my history doesn't look like Hisae's, despite being taken during the same time, by the same person.
Any ideas why this would be so?
I still have my saved files. Would re-uploading and allowing them to be re-processed possibly "fill in the blanks?"
No 85-90 increment on my main, couple others
Could it be possible that somebody else on your realm managed to get in a submission before you, which happened to contain those characters? Seems the most likely explanation I can think of.
Unfortunately re-uploading does not fix things, I'm in the same boat, as I sent Rollie one of my own files for testing the site upgrades, and as a result, my main has 85-90 with nothing in between, even though I carefully saved up different files for every step (the one I sent Rollie was a later one, oops). http://www.warcraftrealms.com/char/21911584 - I uploaded all my files in order later on, but as you can see, once it's been seen at 90, that's that

I've never understood why a character will get multiple entries in their history without changing level or guild, but it shows up several times for Hisae. It looks like he has two entries at each level 85-90. Two per level isn't nearly as bad as some others I've seen in the past. Mostly I'm curious, does anyone know, what causes that?
If we were counting votes, I would also like to see data uploaded later fill in gaps in character history. I suspect that wouldn't be an easy change, and the last thing Rollie needs right now is a major feature request. So really, I'm just making conversation about it, but that's what forums are for, right?

Balgair: One other possible explanation is the cross realm system as there are 3 characters in a guild on Stormrage that I also have characters in that have very new last seen dates even though my files from that time period are still on my hard drive, not even in the queue yet. Cross realm feature could easily explain why only some characters that were online simultaneously were seen. They could even have been fairly close to each other, but if some were moused over or targeted and others not, that would do it, I think.
Fett: I have not had time to check enough characters, but maybe the doubling is somehow related to being pandaren and/or monk? Both are new things, maybe they are registering twice for some coding related reason? Could you look up other pandaren monks you know?

The only other Pandaren Monk I checked didn't have it, but was low level. However, this isn't a new thing. Check out this character: http://www.warcraftrealms.com/char/33713251
That was the worst example I could find. I didn't even bother to count how many level six entries that character had. The first two make sense; unguilded to guilded. However, for the next couple dozen or so, the character doesn't change levels or guilds. Those entries are all from 2007.

Fett, I have only taken a look at about a dozen more characters who shown the "doubling" so my sample is still too small... but so far, all the cases I have seen are either very new... or in characters that were played during early March - June, 2007. Very many of the old characters also show signs of the player taking very long breaks and spending a significant amount of time on specific level(s). With such limited "study" all this could be a coincidence... or a pattern.
Amberlyssa, also of the Old Guard is one such example:

The part that troubles me is that the new characters affected don't share anything obvious in common, except being new. And it isn't anything systematic, because it doesn't affect all characters.
