Today must be weird Tuesday

Post by bringoutyourdead »

I turn on my computer and log into Facebook to see what family and friends have posted today.. and find posts from WarcraftRelms.com.
Only it was not something posted for the site, but instead test posts for another hosted site that shares space on our server.
Either Metalbeast or one of his employees was trying to set up a linkage between the WallaWalla site and Facebook.. but 'oops' clicked on the wrong domain name for the linkage.

Metalbeast has included a number of other test, ISP example marketing, and local (to ISP HQ) community sites he is sponsoring on the same machine as WarcraftRealms.com
Compared to this site the all the others don't even show up as a blip on usage numbers.

After reporting and commenting on the 'oops' above, I decided to go ahead and run some census on the EU realms since the US servers are down for patching.

Battle.net app starts up and says.. US located user.. push the client update out.
Oh well.. I will just have to wait until the US servers are back up, even though I was logged in at Battle.net on my FTP EU testing account.
I go away and let the update happen, come back and see I am 6.23.blahblah.
But wait.. it says I need to update again!? :?
a double update? strange.. I tell it to do so... and go away.
When I come back I have been up(down)graded back to 6.22 because the process has realized I was logged in on EU side.

And I am running CensusPlus on neglected EU realms as I type this.
