since i am the only former Officer of the "old" Ashes that stayed on Dunemaul and after two weeks have passed
since Ashes have been burnt down by two fire raisers i like to clear up a few things.
I will not post any opinions here. Just the facts...
Fact one:
Ashes had a scheduled meeting at Stormwind to have a vote if we stay on Dunemaul or if we goto Executus.
A majority of the guildmembers have been at this meeting.
The voting ended with the clear result that Ashes stays on Dunemaul.
Fact two:
Splinter started a second voting on our forum without telling people.
At least he did not tell to those who have been clearly against a movement.
Anyway, also at this voting he could not get a majority to vote for the move.
Fact three:
One day in the early afternoon, just a few hours before a scheduled Onyxia run,
when only a handfull of members had been online, Splinter and Selox spammed
the guild chat for just a very short time (about one minute) telling the people that
Ashes will move now and that everybody should meet on the new server.
Just a few seconds later Ashes have been deleted leaving all members unguilded.
Fact four:
Nothing has been posted on the guild forum about this issue from the former lead.
Even there have been comments and questions from former guildmembers.
After a few days the forum was gone completely.
Fact five:
People that have been on the guild voice (ventrilo) and started to criticise this
behaviour got baned from the voice server.
Fact six:
By doing all this, the former leaders of Ashes (Splinter and Selox) disabled ANY
way of communication between the guildmembers. Many people that came on
have been asking other people why they have been kicked from the guild.
Just a few people have been aware of what had just happened.
Fact seven:
Splinter and Selox took the items from the guild bank and moved to Executus.
Fact eight:
Many people have been afraid now of loosing their opportunity of getting epic items.
So even people who had been against the movement changed the server.
Even some of them have been shocked about the way the guild has just been destroyed.
The End of Ashes ?
No
Just when the guild chat was spammed by certain people telling every guildmember
to move from the server a Night Elf Rogue was harvesting elemental fire to brew some
potions for the scheduled Onyxia run. At first the rogue was shocked when he was
unguilded from one moment to the other. But then the rogue touched a glowing stone
in his bagpack and teleported to the city of Ironforge.
The rogue paused for a moment .. .. then he used his sprint ability and rushed into a
small shop beside the auction house handed the vendor a few gold coins and wrote
down a name in the guild register .. ASHES !
The Dunemaul Ashes has been burned down and was born from the dust again.
Within 15 minutes ten old guildmembers created the guild again.
After three hours there have been 36 members.. after three days 60 members ..
and after two weeks there are 80 ! All level 60, skilled and well equipped.
In the last week we downed:
Lucifron 2nd try .. Magmadar 1st try .. Gehennas 1st try..
Garr 2nd try.. Shazzrah 1st try .. Geddon 2nd try
and on Thursday we do "Sulfuron Harbinger" and "Golemagg the Incinerator".
Ashes is alive !
Well, just to amuse yourselfs a few internals from officers and MC chats:
Question to selox just before he took his third item in the same MC run:
Officer: hmm, dont you think we should make sure that everybody gets at least
one item before other people take there 4th or 5th ?
Selox: NO!! <yelled> I earned my DKP and i will take the items!
in MC just after a boss kill

hmm, can i pass this item to <DidNotGetAnEpicYetLongTimeMember> ?
Selox:
Nooooo! you take it. You earned your DKP its yours take it !
highest DKP guy:
Well, ok.

Selox: <yelled> Do that again and i will kick you !!!

Selox ideas of improving the guild just a few hours after he dropped
from highest DKP to nearly lowest DPK:
Selox: Well, i might just kick those to rogues.
Officer: Why ?
Selox: Because they suck.
Officer: But they are the both TOP-DKP ?? You cant kick them.
Selox Sure i can, they are not listening. They doing a bad job.
Officer: Hey this looks like you want to get rid of the two highest
DKP rogues so you go top again. Thats pure greed.
Selox: NO!! <yelled> Shut up !!
At the inviting to Onyxia:
Selox: I just take three rogues today. Me, <Mr315SkinningRogue>
and <OfficerRogue>.
OfficerRogue: Hey you cannot leave out both top DKP rogues ?!
Selox: Yes i can!! <yelled> Shut up !!
OfficerRogue: Well ok, then i pass my spot for the highest DKP-Rogue
Selox: YOU CANT DO THAT!! <going crazy>
OfficerRogue: Yes i can.
Selox: NO!! YOU CANT
OfficerRogue: I am not comming Selox. So invite the highest DKP Rogue.
Well, the highest DKP Rogues was invited. Ashes wiped two times on Onyxia.
Two days later two people deleted the Ashes guild and took the guild bank
to "Executus", creating a new guild called "Trivium".
So if you meet those two guys Splinter and Selox over there,
you should know who you deal with.
