Toon gender choice - inquiring minds what to know.....

Really? I think a few of the Undead one (like the one I'm playing) looks rather pretty/hot. You just have to cycle through all the horror show looks first

Odd, though... I never once got a single thing free while using my female toon. I've heard it happens, but it sure as heck never happened to me.

Kinda makes the whole thing sound like a myth, doesn't it? Like I said before, It probably happens a lot less now... Although I now remember actually getting something free once, while playing with my female night elf: a bird pet (from a high level rogue). Though that could be high level/low level thing. I've occationaly given away free bags to friendly low-level players I've grouped with.

Is there a way to get a gender report from the census data here? I'm curious to know the gender representation on the servers I play on.

Afraid not; the census uses /who results and they don't show gender. Real shame, as I'd like to know that myself, but there's no way of doing it, as far as I'm aware.

Oh, and replying to old comment about Horde females - some look pretty good, yeah; there's one troll face in particular that I love, plus the coolest hairdo ever (the kind of mohican one with the plaits at the sides) I've got two female troll alts with that face and hairdo, just in different colours... unfortunately they're both classes that I've not been interested enough in to play yet, but I really love the look, anyway

You can actually get gender from TARGETED info, but not from WHO info. It could be done to get a decent sample size and I have thought about doing it, I just haven't add it in
