anyone here have an idea when is the exact date of the expansion? i have a pre-order already at gamersloot.net and they have projected that blizzard will release it this Oct..but thats just an anticipation..but i trust gamersloot.net i just want to ask if someone here have some updates on the release..hope its earlier than Oct...

So far no set date has been given by Blizzard. Companies where you have already pre-ordered the expansion from can tell you anything about when it will get released, but there has yet to be an official release date set....

All indications point to an end of year release but thats as far as we know

If Blizzard misses out on the holiday season that will hurt them and it would be a bad business decision on their part. I definitely think it will be out before December, but that is just my opinion and I have nothing to back that up.

i believe the exact date for BC is going to be 10/02 or atleast thats what they are shooting for,.

Q4 is all we know and even that is not certain, they will probably release it even in a somewhat unfinished state and simply put some stuff in regular content updates or the next expansion but there is always the risk that a major issue delays the release and Vivendi won't cripple their number one cash cow by an early release unless subscriptions start dropping sharply.

A Q4 release is very much the right move by Blizzard, there is no MMO before then that can steal a significant number of players from WoW, an expansion released close to the release of Age of Conan will certainly keep a lot of players that would otherwise be ready to try a new fantasy MMO with wide appeal. Considering this I would say there is a lot of pressure on the new expansion team to deliver by then
