Horde is Better, the other side is full of snobby kids...
I think both sides are immature. This game gives you a glimpse into the attitudes of people as a whole. If any of you went to a midnight sale of BC you may understand the type of people you are playing alongside. After going to that sale and seeing the strange people that play WoW, everything makes sense now. That South Park episode about WoW was not mean enough imo. lol

When I first saw the game, I thought about making an elf. That thought lasted a few hours i think, then I went to character creation screen and my undead warlock came to be. And she's still my primary char and will always be.
(now, I just wish I could choose details like creasts... she'd ideally be flat-chested, but that's another matter)
BTW, troll chicks have the cutest butts in the game, IMO. Elves are just flat in that area
Now, draenei chicks look like my succubus and, hmm, might be passable...

Let me start this response with this. I am 59. I am an executive in a company that I have worked for, for 30 years. I lost my wife to a terminal disease this past year and was looking for something to fill my time. I was reading about on line role playing games and came across World of Warcraft. I decided to read up on it and as I read the history of the Alliance and the Horde I decided to purchase the game. I purchased the game and loaded it onto my lap top. I then reviewed the characters that were available for both the Horde and the Alliance. I looked the toons over and decided that if I was going to play the game for any length of time that I wanted something that was not repulsive to me. Watching a cow walk on their hind legs and watching the undead bend at the knees and the hips as they skulked around was not pleasing to me. I started every Horde toon and every Alliance toon and came to the conclusion that I preferred the Night Elf male. (I do not care for the mount but I am working on my Stormwind honor to get my horse.) I chose the warrior after reading the message boards and finding everyone complaining about how hard it is to play a warrior solo. I have played my Warrior solo up to this point and have reached the lvl of 44. I love the game and the battle grounds. I join pugs for the instances and I think the warrior is a great toon.
To say all Alliance players are immature kids is ridiculous. To say people play Alliance toons because of looks may be quite accurate. It was in my case.

Well, Texe, you're assuming Alliance looks are better than Horde like it were a fact. Now, recent races aside, I for one just don't agree with you.
Many do, the vast majority of players as stats tell us, but not everyone by far
(there's nothing wrong in choosing looks that appeal to you btw... and there are a lot of Horde morons, too)

Everybody has their preference. When I bought the game I'd planned on being NE originally, since they were my fav race to use in WC3 as well. However, when I hopped on my cousin's account right before buying mine, there were just too many NE's around. And I've always liked to be a little different
That's why I went dwarf at first, and then switched to horde at 49.
With the introduction of blood elves, there's definitely been an increase in the moron population amongst the horde. I bet there aren't nearly as many idiots that rolled draenei

My brother is 38 and he went Human mainly, but has NE and BE.
My nephew is 11 and he went NE/Human but now his favorite race is BE.
I am 44 and I definately prefer NE over anything else but also play ORC Tauren, BE, and Troll.
I have several (about 15) accuaintances that are in the 18-25 range that I know from www.Dagorhir.com They mostly went Tauren and Troll.

You just proved his pointSkyfire wrote:Blood elves.
Please, stfu with the biased comments. Until you can show me a statistical study performed by someone with some knowledge of it, you shouldn't be saying stuff like that.
Yes, you touched a nerve. Please, be quiet until you can prove Alliance is more immature than Horde.

His point was that Alliance was immature because they had Night Elves.exhale wrote:You just proved his pointSkyfire wrote:Blood elves.

So, my counterpoint is that the Horde now has Blood Elves. Think, please.
Nobody can prove anything because it's all based on personal experience, but the general consensus on Horde is that Alliance are mostly immature nuisances. Very few people on Horde annoy me, but there definitely are times. However, when playing Alliance, which I do infrequently, I've been bugged by the people there more times than I can count. There are certainly mature people on Alliance, but there also seems to be a much larger number who are immature as compared to Horde.
