Contest is over...

I would expect that right now submissions are dropping as well since I know a lot of people have had to turn off almost all their mods, since you don't need census+ in everyday play I wouldn't expect people to run it if they have general mod issues. I still run it even though half my mods are still not working but I'm sort of a stats junkie

Yeah, I'm not really surprised. The contest really drove a lot of updates and is why I'll hopefully be running some sort of contest pretty much every month to try to help keep the updates coming.

I made a lot of changes on the processing side of things to hopefully accommodate the increased work load, but I won't know the full impact of the changes until I get another flood of submissions, hehe.

I keep hearing everyone talking about all there mods not working. I have an auto updater for cosmos, and I ran wowtoc.exe addon from curse gaming, and I am not having any problems.

Well as soon as I get home I'm uploading for Windrunner horde, which I took yesterday but forgot to upload.. (That face seems like a nervous laugh to me, heh.)

Stupidity on my part perhaps, but at least it'll get updated.

Well, I've never touched cosmos and I never will, generally I don't run game related .exe's from sources I don't trust, and the problems people are running into aren't simply related to the verion number changing. Among commonly used mods auctioneer is not working atm (there is a workaround) and the same is true for anything using the enhtooltip from Norganna. CT-Raid is supposedly fixed but I'm still getting error messages, basically all mods dealing with parts of the UI that Blizzard shuffled around are having issues. Some mods like Reputation were completely absorbed by Blizzard and are no longer needed but if you run them you will get off effects etc. By the end of the weekend most mods will be up and running again I expect and the mod sites will be responsive enough for most ppl to download updated mods

Cosmos is great. Only wish they'd include auctioneer and that alike so updating them would be easier!

im uploading 3 servers now. 2 i play on, 1 from the most wanted list. the owners of the 2nd and 3rd accts that i abuse are both using them alot more lately so im struggling to find a time when they arent on them that i could consistently grab data. also first 2 weeks ov nov i will be out of town. luckily i will be able to play wow but i dunno if ill have time or means to be doing uploads as well

Eyeball your a machine. I try and update about 12 servers i believe. Kargath is my main, and then i do like all the a-c's occasionally when i get a chance

Hey thats GREAT that you guys can consistently upload so many servers. I spose when I have 9 lvl 60's and don't have to pay for the pleasure of taking census' then I too will upload 30 servers.
Please don't stomp on me cuz I enjoy playing the game. It'smy $15/mo to use as I see fit, just as its yours to spend how you want.

with that said i think ill be off the boards for an extended period

LoL, well, the important thing is to enjoy the game, taking census should IMO always take a back seat to that

I tend to take census when I take breaks or when I do stuff solo a lot, other times that work well is when I watch stuff on one of those channels with 58 commercial breaks/hour... instead of flipping I go and start another census on a new server, as long as that's not Warsong which takes 30+ minutes to log on to.

Enjoy the game, take census when it's workable, DON'T burn out on either...

I appreciate everyone's efforts, from EB and his massive uploads to the person who submits once a month. It's takes everyone to cover so much.

Lol, i play the game when i have to devote to it, but if i got 30 minutes worth of homework to do on paper, then i just run the census while i'm doing it. Or when I'm watching Adult Swim every night lol! It doesn't take anytime from my playing time lol!

I didn't mean to upset you X. I saw your post about uploading, and I just did a quote on yours about me uploading too. That was it.
