Hey guys!
I started playing WoW when it came out in europe, 11 feb.
And now i have 1 lvl 60 warlock whit alot of good gear. And some other lowlevels.
2 of my best friends are playing on a US server and they want me to play whit them. Is there ANY way to move characters from a euro to a US server???

I don't think so. And not only that, but if you play on EU servers, you won't be able to play on US servers unless you buy a US version of the game.

It sounds like fee-based realm transfers are on their way in the near future, but I very much doubt they will be international.
Not to hijack the thread, but while we're sorta on the subject, have any of you fellow North America residents bought the EU version of the game? If so, where did you find it?

it's basically the same. all you need to change is one file that brings up the eu realms instead of the US ones. Literally you change "us" with "eu".

That's true, but US accounts don't work on EU servers. Also, Blizzard doesn't keep the software 100% in sync for both regions, so at times the US client is incompatible with the EU client.

thats the thing, i have bought a US game and account, so i just want blizzard to delete my EU char and make an identical on US server.
But i guess they wont, its prolly a money issue.
Hybuir, where do i change that??

it's in your main World of Warcraft folder. it's "realm.wtf" which you open with any plain text editor, such as notepad. You change "set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com" to "set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com" (or vice-versa)
