Uploading own background

Is there somthing wrong with uploading your own picture for your signature's background?
Because i dont receive any confirmation email and it doesnt show up anywhere.
How long is it supposed to be taking?

It does take a while, I think rollie has to approve it, after that then it's eazy speazy

Yes, I approve each sig file personally. And yes, the approval can take 24 hours or more as it all depends on when I get a chance to check them.

My issue with that is that I don't like most of the screen shots that I see. I like the concept or cinematic art, since it's less cartoon-like.
