Updates

How often do you update the site? I plan on doing a daily census for the greymane server and was just curious so i could track my charsacters.

Typically there is an update process run every 4 hours. It has been offline for a day or so while I corrected some potential data issues though.

Is it still offline? I ask beause I submitted an upload about 6 hours ago before leaving for work. Or do I have another issue as I am on an EU server, and you said that there had been a problem with those?

Due to the aforementioned problem, there is a bit of backlog that could take a day or 2 to clear up. If your file has still not been processed in 24 hours or so, you might bring it to my attention again so that I can check on the status.

I'm off for the weekend to do a little bit of table top RPGing (dice and pencils!) - so I won't be able to check until I get back some time on Sunday evening (GMT). Unless I grab use of the hosts' broadband connection.

Ah, thanks for the info about the holdup - I submitted a massive upload yesterday (thanks to my server being down all day, I had nothing better to do than census 20 other servers!), and it's not gone through yet; was hoping the EU issues hadn't ended up with my upload not working or something. I'd have been sick to lose that many potential updates

I was juast wondering what the status of the Updates were. I have recently joined this census community and have read a little on the forums about problems with the updates and that it may take a little while. Here is the current list of my updates:-

They seem to be going through now, they are up to 2006-01-13 11:47:15 at the moment if that helpes show the progress of the catch up
