Hi, I have a question for someone with spare time to answer
I bought WoW a week ago. Everything is fine, but I'm having a headache choosing a realm.
Why?. I would like to play on a new server, preferably PvE, but the point is I'm getting very different latencies on different servers.
I guess this is obvious, of course, but question is, is there any way to check server latencies without having to log into all of them to check?.
Example, I'm getting a very decent latency at Eredar. Latency at Eredar and Burning Blade is much better than other servers, but both servers kind of suck for new players. I've checked both servers are EST... maybe there is a way to see every server exact location?
I'd need an advice, thank you very much
Mark
About realms
If you go to this link here (on this site) you will be able to sort them by Time Zone. http://www.warcraftrealms.com/realmstats.php
There are quite a few EST realms, but if you are looking for a realm that is low pop it may be quite difficult. It is also good to check the realm history of queues and population which can be found here.

As far as being able to see the latency on servers, there really is no way because it depends on your connection with the server. My latency runs from 65 to 200, but none of that matters if Blizzard's servers are running slow.
I hope this helps you a little.
