Hello, I live in Anchorage Alaska and I have high speed DSL up here. I created a character on Emerald Dream, which is located in the Central Time Zone. I always seem to be getting a yellow bar for my latency. I was wondering if anyone (who knows anything about this) can tell me if I would get a noticeably better latency rating if I were to play on a PST server. Thank you.

PS. I have a 25 mage that I would like to continue all the way to 60, but I would also rather quit now while I am still a lower level.

I live in Oregon, and I have played on East Coast, Central, and Pacific time servers. I really have not noticed any difference in latency based on time zone. The piece that has affected latency the most in my experience has been the newness of the server. The newer servers seem to be worse than older servers.

I'm sure the time zone factors in somewhat, it would seem logical that it would, but I personally have not found it to matter.
