Kind of articles you would like to see at WarcraftRealms.com

Post by Yenx »

Dear users,

I have recently been selected to be part of the site's writing team. I hope for a long and successful era in the site's writing team and I hope we will have much fun together! Moving onto important matters, through this poll I want you to list your perspectives and views on the subject mentioned in the thread's title. What kind of articles would you like to see at WarcraftRealms.com, what would stimulate your interest?

Please give us the feedback we need to try and make WarcraftRealms.com an active and busy World of Warcraft community!

Cheers,
Thems - Trialst Writer

Addons are cool. I would be interested in hardware reviews, things related to WoW that would improve my gaming experience. I'm not so big on guides and the "general interest" category. There are plenty of the former available on various sites around the web, you might be hard-pressed to add something new at this point. (Excluding new content from patches and such, of course.)

I like exposure to things I haven't found yet.

I agree with Ceto for the most part. Guides don't interest me... there are plenty out there. I'd like to see reivews on new content, add-ons, and some general interest commentary on occasion. Also of interest is articles based on analysis of the data collected by the site.

I guess I'll hop on the bandwagon, haha :P I'd really like to see reviews of addons (especially since new ones come out all the time), as well as some hardware reviews. Some general interest commentary on new content would also be cool, as my guild is still in BWL and so I'm not gonna get to check out Naxx for awhile :P

AddOns would be nice. I would suggest a 3 part coverage.

1. General usability. Is it right for all classes? Situations?

2. Technical specs. Is it sound? Will it be updated? I don't think it would take Rollie too long to look at the code of most UI mods and figure out if they are adaptable for the long term.

3. First hand experience with the mod.

I'll go with the majority on this one as well. AddOn's is what I'd like to see more of. Also new content as well, you can hop on the test realms and then write up on how the new stuff is
