Updating realm data...

Hello everyone :)

Sorry I don't know if this it the right place to post but... I saw that my realm had too few entries, so I decided to install the census mod and contribute.

My question is : How do you know whether the data upload has been successful or not? When I click Submit and send my data, I get the following message :

"CensusPlus
File appears to be valid, checking your version number." Then, after some time (quite long indeed):

"Checking your file
Found CensusPlus Database
Found CensusPlus Info Data
Found Version Number => Version: <Found> Locale: <Found> Locale: US\"; <Found> Locale: EU\"; <Found> Locale: ??\"; <Found> Locale: <Found> Locale: <Found> Locale: <Found> Locale: <Found> Locale: <Found> Locale: <Found> Locale: <Found> Locale: US\" ) ) then <Found> Locale: <Found> Locale: <Found> Locale: US\" ) then <="

And nothing else... is this normal?

Thank you

Yup all that is totally normal. If you logged into the website before you submitted your data you can track your submissions and when it gets processed you can see how many new chars were made and how many were updated in your My Characters page:
http://www.warcraftrealms.com/charlist.php

It will indeed take sometime to upload your data after you click on Submit because the file does get quite large overtime, esp if you Census on other realms. Even if you just do your 1 realm the file will normally hit about 1.5MB - 2MB on average.

You can keep track of what file the database is currently processing by checking the Census DB Stats page here: http://www.warcraftrealms.com/dbstats.php

Actually, that's not normal =)

That's the kind of output you'll see if you uploaded the actual UI mod file instead of the saved variables file.

Make sure you upload the file located here:

/World of Warcraft/WTF/Account/####/SavedVariables/CensusPlus.lua
