So I'm assuming by how quiet things have been today that people have had no problems getting online and playing Burning Crusade?

How are you liking it?

Unfortunately for me... our once every 5 year ice storm decide to hit Austin just in time for the expansion. I've been stuck at home now for 2 days with about 30 miles of ice between me and my pre-ordered expansion =) Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to make the trip to pick it up though!

Hope everyone else is enjoying theirs!

Unlucky!

TBC works fine here, been impressed actually, no server issues at all and only a bit of lag. Of course my deciding to go nocturnal and sleep between 6pm and 2am might've helped with that ;) Was kinda needed too, there's so many people camping quest mobs that middle of the night is the best time for it!

Only reason I'm reading forums now is my server's "restarting" and taking a while about it :P

been working surprisingly well, server queues are up from no server queues two weeks ago to 300+ now though, more than 2000 alliance online at peak and I suspect we'll see more as more ppl pick up the expansion. Been busy doing job interviews and stuff so haven't been able to play much really.

What was I saying about it working well? Server's been laggy as hell since the restart, we all got booted from outland twice and it's lagged out again now. Sigh :)

Outland is a no go zone for me... My gfx card isn't that great as I thought it was. It runs reasonable in Azeroth but not in Outland :( Time to upgrade!

As for server queues. There has been MUCH less activity on Silvermoon these past few days. I census during the afternoons and late nights and the activity has dropped alot. No queues at all, and only 400 hordes on average online compared to 900 hordes at queue time. Alliance side is always 2x more :S

Things actually went pretty good. Aside from that page not loading for a good 15 minutes last night. The server I transfered to has been VERY stable without any latency issues or lag problems. There was a very small queue today of 50 people and everyone in guild chat was amazed at it since they haven't seen one for many months. I went to get on Dalaran and there was a 500 person queue and Mal'Ganis was at 800. Thankfully, I was just going to do a few census scans and decided against it when I saw the wait time. lol

I was the first person to hit 61 in my guild!

Argent Dawn had a 700+ person queue when I attempted to log in. Then the server started repeatedly exploding, so the queue completely disappeared, and it was low pop by pretty early in the night. Good thing I have alts on other servers....

Picked up the Collector's Edition yesterday morning. =)

It's so much fun... I played for ~11 hours yesterday and hit 61 doing the last boss in Hellfire Ramparts.

I'm loving the expansion. I had no idea that the artwork for the areas would be this awesome, and i'm really impressed with the MOBs that I've encountered in outlands.

Last night, one of my servers had a queue of 700, another serever of mine had no queue. I think they must have really increased the server cap by quite a bit to see that much inconsistancy between those two realms.

The server I really wanted to play on last night was down (Medivh), but it was the only server in my list of 14 that was down.

Rollie!!! I had to go and defrost my ice 2 hours previous to Best Buy opening to make sure i got there to be the first in line. I was, and then I was the first one to get the collectors edition. Bwhahahaha!!!!

sure I spoiled myself but, eh, it's worth the small little perks. Instead of working, I look at my Art of the BC book :-D

Yeah, Mal'ganis has been crowded as can be (ridiculous queues), but at least we're not getting too many crazy lag spikes. Outland is ridiculous though, sooooo many people out there :P

In preparation for a Midnight release at my closest EB, I went to a movie and then stood in line for about 45 minutes to get one copy to install on our 4th account. I logged in around 1am EST and stayed up with some friends playing until 7am, then brought my toon to Exodus so I could start him on Jewelry Crafting.

Amazingly, the 3 copies of the Collector's Edition I ordered from the Blizzard online store on the 9th arrived just before noon on the 16th, so my wife an I were able to upgrade our primary accounts. :)

I have 4 60's, 2 of which have been exploring Outlands a bit, but I have concentrated on Jewelry Crafting and have managed to get it up to 267. Now I have to grind for lots of Thorium and high level gems to make the push to 300. Perhaps then I can work on getting somebody to 61.. :)

Game play has been surprisingly decent, with very little lag and no queues on my server.
