how do I grab my chars into my profile?
been looking everywhere for clues but nothing worked.

could some one give me hand with this?

First you need to log into the main site so it knows which profile to associate the claimed char with. The forums and the main site share the same user name and password but its separate logins. Move your mouse of the Warcraft Realms menu and select Login.

Next comes finding your char...

You can easily find it if you do something like:
http://warcraftrealms.com/char/<realm>/<char>

for example mine:
http://warcraftrealms.com/char/Silvermoon/Drazen
type it exactly how its spelt.

When you view the char's profile you will notice a link at the top right that says Claim Char. Click that and it will claim the char to your profile. It should be instant and you can then view that char in your WR Profile.


And based on your 2 sigs...

I know many of us are willing and capable enough to be as helpful as DM, but I think he's putting on his Goblin Rocket Boots in the forums! Last time I had a couple of issues, he responded within minutes...

Half the time the responses which are a few mins after the thread was created is just luck. I just happened to be online and browsing the WoW Customer Service forums and decided to stop by here because I haven't been on here for 'awhile' (which in my terms is like once an hour )

But recently the new posts have seemed to drop to like just a one or two a day

I think the new armory thing has reduced traffic here somewhat...

Perhaps, although I really wouldn't understand why... unless people were coming here for reasons I didn't know about!

How has the uploads been since Armory was released?

Yeah, I mean most of the information offered really is pretty different between the two sites, so I don't see why someone would choose one and not the other... when you can use both ^_^

I actually don't use the armory much, since I use Character Profiler, and it profiles more than the armory does. So yeah, I use WR, not the armory.

Armory shows gear, spec, reputation and stuff.
WR shows char history and stuff.

WR shows the really interesting stats last guilds etc (guild-hopper or not etc.)

I was just teasing a little bit, because one could use one and not the other and still get the same information if they use yet another site for the information.
