I can not find out the answer to my question. SO I am hoping that you guys can tell me and get a big laugh off of how noobie I am.

Sometimes when I am in combat, a blue lightening symbol, will appear on top of the character. What does that exactly mean?

Are you talking about the combat indicator?

Hmm, if you are fighting a mob that uses Demoralizing Shout (which reduces your attack power), I believe that uses a blue lightning symbol. Or, if you're a warrior and you use Demoralizing shout, it will show that blue lightning symbol over the enemy's head.
