Highest realm activity?

Lok Thar,

I would like to know which realms have the highest realm activity (EU-Server). As I know you can display the realm activity for only one server (e.g. http://www.warcraftrealms.com/activity.php?serverid=235) but there is no overview?

How to get an overview? Is there a way to show what servers have a high activity in an overview?

Meanwhile I found a good overview from a guy who spiders the armory.

hm... weird... I did some comparing (i'm sorry i'm bored at work) and found different numbers on ours. Now, usually coming up short compared to Okoloth's numbers would mean that we would just need censuses on those servers, but we are coming up THOUSANDS more.

I think he finds people via guilds, so would guess that maybe unguilded people don't get counted in his, while they do on WCR.

Aha, poked around in the archives of that site:
Finding characters is the tricky part; I took the ?Arena Ladder? charts for 2v2, 3v3 & 5v5 teams in my ?Misery? battlegroup of 14 realms. For each team I retrieved the character sheet for each team member, then looked up and retrieved all the characters from their respective guilds. This approach has been pretty successful however it is limited in a number of ways:

1). only guilds where a member is part of an arena team are found
2). characters who are not guilded and not in an arena team are never found
Would guess that explains why so many are missing on his, "Unguilded" is usually the biggest guild on most servers ;)

It's rather intriguing; my server's only off by ~300, despite the fact that Horde side is in the top 10 worst updates. The percentages are fairly closely accurate, so it would seem that both sides would have to be updated more often to continue that trend. In which case, numbers would probably go up...

Hm.

so the closer in number, the bigger the guilded/arena'ing population there is?

I guess that appears to be the closest conclusion... Mal'ganis has a pretty big difference in numbers, but I guess that is due to unguilded being 2nd on the list of guilds in game :P

That would appear to be the conclusion to draw.

One thing that should be fairly consistent between he and I is the percentages. The overall numbers could be different, but the percentage of each class/race should be nearly spot on for any decently sampled faction/server.
