I think all indications pointed to a Christmas release for Wotlk.

I like the removal of the attunements, makes recruitment somewhat easier and allows those progressing to get that much farther. For most guilds formed after the attunement for SSC/TK was removed don't bother doing Magtheridon anymore since its only needed for the Champion of the Naaru title, but no longer needed to enter Temp Keep.

TheDeamon makes good points about WotLK release date, I certainly hope it's not as far away as Xmas anyway, as I'm very much headed towards the "running out of things to do" stage - 25-man raids aren't my thing, my friends farmed kara to death and stopped going any more, I've got 5 70s, on both factions, got those all as geared up as I can with the options available to me... so it's level more alts or change guild to open up new options, but I don't particularly want to change guild!

At least I do want to level new classes to 70, but still, there's limits to how many I can level, particularly as the more 70s I have , the more WotLK is going to be "oh no, got to level ANOTHER one from 70-80, I'm bored of these zones now!", like I'm bored of 60-70 now so keep levelling lowbies so I can do some different quests Every lvl 60 I get hits the "argh, not HFP again" phase and gets stuck for weeks/months...

One thing I very much hope is that WotLK beta can be open to contests etc again; I loved being in the TBC beta, it was what kept me playing at that point as I'd run out of stuff to do then, too. I'm going to enter every contest I can for a shot at a WotLK beta key, seeing it develop is really fun. WTB another levelling contest, I really enjoyed that competition in itself, as well as the key I got for it

Lol! I knew that only one 25 was meant to be enough, but I did think you had to get at least one for it... I had 4 Bring on another contest like that, should be able to get more with better planning, or else just go for fast levelling to a higher lvl

PvE .....what is that?

The biggest pvp thing.....even bigger than the removal of diminishing returns will be how resilience affects how your mana is drained. Before long if you have 500 resilience you won't be able to be killed. They just keep adding things that it does.

.....I can't wait till resilience makes your gold multiply.


WotLK expansion release date will be directly around the release dates of Warhammer and Age of Conan. If the expansion beats those by a month or two than I say GG to them. The only way they will possibly steal away people from WoW is getting theirs out before this next expansion. Right now I am stuck on what I want to do. Every day I tell myself I hate WoW, but I know if I go to the other games and end up not liking them I will be behind again when I go back to WoW. Every day you don't play Wow causes you to not keep up with the Jones.

I'm still going with December for a release... don't want to miss that Christmas rush again like they did with TBC....
