I don't like AV weekend, the allies actually win sometimes during the bonus weekend

Omg I want that Horde win ratio - we're lucky to win more than 1 in 3 in my battlegroup

Yeah, apparently my battlegroup is the anomaly - horde usually wins AV, loses EOTS, and AB/WSG are about 50/50. During the week horde usually wins more, and on the weekends alliance wins more because many games in EOTS and AB start off 15 alliance vs. 7 horde (I guess there's a lot more casual weekend players on alliance side in our battlegroup or something.) It's kind of a weird battlegroup to be in I guess, but it's the one I'm used to

Hehe that's very different to mine: we used to win 95% of EotS/AB, 75% WSG and maybe 10% AV... it's shifted of late so we win maybe 30% AV and only about 70% EotS/AB (sometimes even less on a bad day) but still, pretty different to yours! We get the 15v7 thing all too often as well... on all days of the week

premade AV's for the win... or I could say that I single handedly win all AVs

Yeah, I was in one AV yesterday and was wondering why the alliance were completely owning us... then I actually looked at the scoreboard and realized that all but like 3 of the alliance were from the same server. I hate premade AVs, btw

Premade AVs are the way to go. It takes coordination, communication, a degree of skill and planning. How is this not the very essence of PvP gameplay? This isn't better than being a cog in a clusterf_ck? Of course you can go in as a random person in the zerg, but they shoudln't penalize cooperation.
I think that by not matching up teams with pugs, this has lead the pvp word into an all or nothing category. Either you're in the top 15% or your in AV nickel and diming it.
Arena is nothing more than composition, why not give teams an opportunity to go where composition isn't the deciding factor
Sadpanda.

See, I would agree with you, but in general having almost 40 people from the same server will win vs. a pug, regardless of their coordination. I've faced alliance premade AV's where they've struggled a ton to win even vs. a horde pug, but they still won (which isn't a very common occurrence in my battlegroup.) With a larger premade, you can still have plenty of people not doing whatever they're supposed to be doing and still pull off a win just by having the core of people recapping all the towers/gy's and then picking off the opposing offense.
I don't like team vs. pug games in general, as it's still absolutely NOT a very good measure of skill nor even coordination to pull out a win. If it were up to me (which obviously it's not, haha), full premades of all bgs wouldn't be allowed unless they play against other full premades, since that imo gives the best measure of "skill" and coordination - if that's what you're looking for. Other than WSG, full team vs. team isn't based on composition nearly as much as coordination, which is why it's wonderful that premades are more likely to meet premades. It's the best situation possible to make things as fair as they're going to get (which still leaves much to be desired, but I digress.)
I only like to pvp for fun. My favorite times pvping are just with a few of my friends, win or lose. It's why I do arena with my friends, even though we don't have the composition nor the "leet skillz" to make a top team... most of the time it's more frustrating then fun due to the horrible matching system, but in the end I couldn't possibly care less about ratings. I just want to have fun. Sure, I like winning, but I don't even mind losing so much to another team as long as I feel like we stood a chance.
So in essence, sure premades can be a great way to get honor quickly... but I don't derive any sense of accomplishment from beating down a pug. It's just too easy.
