Well yesterday I pulled off a 12 hour shift at work. I came back home, wanted to just check my auctions, so I logged in (already converted to a battle.net account). WoW kept on telling me that there was an update, not in the launcher, but when I signed in.

I copied my WoW folder for safe keeping. I renamed my cache, wtf and interface folders. Ran it again, nothing. Repair function? Nothing.

So I spent all night downloading a new version, applying patches.. It works, and I just missed the downtime deadline. gah! Oh well time to download all the addons again, get em set up, then start to play.

This sucks... i hate downtime.

Converted to battle.net accounts yet?

Follow up question, do any of you guys have the authenticators?

Yeah, I converted and got my Mr. Chilly. Woot for more pets, but I already had Pengu anyway.

I use the Blizzard Authenticator fob.

Since my account hack 13/10-09, I've been using authenticator on my phone..

I have 2 authenticators that I've just been having laying around... I bought more than i wanted when they (finally) got in stock, now the thrill is gone.
