How often do people normally reset the CensusPlus.lua file? Is there a way to just reset it or do we just delete it and redo our settings each time?

Thanks,

On the in-game interface, there are 2 buttons: Prune and Purge

One of them (can't remember which) deletes all data older than 30 days. The other deletes all data, regardless of age..

However, regardless of which button you use, your settings are kept intact.

Prune removes data older than 30 days.

Purge deletes all data.

Also, if the file is growing very fast (can happen if you census a lot), you can also use manual command:

/censusplus prune x

, where x is the desired number of days of data to be kept. For example:

/censusplus prune 3

will delete all data that is older than 3 days.

You can also use a command:

/censusplus serverprune - deletes all data from servers other than the one you're currently logged into

/censusplus prune ## - where ## is the number of days data you'd like to keep, for example, "/censusplus prune 10" would prune everything outside of the last 10 days. I use this one a lot! :)

Hehe, we posted at the same time. :D

And you are right. For us who census a lot, the pruning is a routine mater... though I almost have to use 3, not 10... and sometimes I have been forced to cut down to 1, even. :D

Hehe didn't see your post till you posted again :D And yeah, I use 7 when I'm censusing a fair amount, never had to go lower than that, although I maybe should some weeks! Usually I'm playing too much on my main server though and not censusing others so much, and I do like to hold onto data from my main server. Perhaps I should use serverprune instead :)

Thank you all for your replies. I guess I was blind and didn't see those buttons. I appreciate the replies.

Again thank you.
