available on curse now.

VERSION

6.0.0 - 09/24/2012
- Mists of Pandaria release
- Added command /census me
this command allows you to run census on your own character... outside of a standard census run..
this is invisioned only needed when you stop and block auto-census to allow maximum resources to game mechanics
such as battlegrounds or raid events. /census me allows you to record any level ups you might gain during these events without do
full census runs.
- Added Target and Mouse-over character counting, this is independent of active census runs.
- Added full Cross realm tracking. Mousing over or targeted characters that are part of a different realm then your own will now get
added to the census rolls.

fixes - corrected issue where attempts to start census when census run is already active would cause a pause. This now correctly issues a notice in chat window and ignores the extra start attempts.

Usage:

/CensusPlus or /Census+ or /Census and following command as shown below:

/CensusPlus verbose _ Toggles verbose mode off/on
/CensusPlus options _ Brings up the Option window
/CensusPlus take _ Start a Census snapshot
/CensusPlus stop _ Stop a Census snapshot
/CensusPlus prune X _ Prune the database by removing characters not seen in X days
/CensusPlus serverprune _ Prune the database by removing all data from servers other than the one you are currently on.
/CensusPlus who name _ Will display info that matches names or guilds.
/CensusPlus who unguilded 70 _ Will list unguilded characters of that level.
/CensusPlus timer X _ Will set the autocensus timer (in minutes).
/CensusPlus me _ Does Census update of player only.. this is done automatically when /CensusPlus take finishes.

You can also invoke the CensusPlus window by clicking on the CensusPlus Button that default to the mini-map but can be moved anywhere.
Clicking the right (alternate) button on the mouse will show a drop down option window.

By selecting the Take button from the main census panel, you will initiate a Census snapshot.
Depending on the population of your realm and faction, this could take several minutes.

Clicking the Purge button will purge all your collected data from your local Census database.

Clicking the Stop button will stop the current census if one is in progress.

Clicking the Pause button will pause the current census if one is in progress.

Once you have census data locally you can click on Race, Class, or Level icons or bars to bring up more detail on your current realms population.

If you so choose, you can upload your collected census information to
http://www.warcraftrealms.com
Doing so will greatly help in the tracking of your realm and faction's population numbers and statistics.
You can create your own login at http://www.warcraftrealms.com to keep track of your upload activity, or upload anonymously.

If you have any requests, comments, or suggestions, please post in the forums at http://www.warcraftrealms.com

Hey, sorry to be a pest but the website won't accept version 6.0 uploads.

I get this error:
It appears you have submitted data from version 6.0.0 of CensusPlus.
The latest version is 5.0.2. Please download the latest version and rerun CensusPlus. Your data will not be accepted unless submitted using the latest version of CensusPlus.

I'm seeing this as well when uploading through the submissions page. UniUploader is not returning an error, however. My upload through UU is showing on my page, I'm waiting to see if it processes.

This is happening because the addon has been updated but the website is still being worked on, and the two aren't matching up at present - even if the version numbers matched, the database wouldn't be able to handle Pandaren, Monks and anything over lvl 85 until the update is finished, hence it just not allowing the uploads right now.

Hopefully it'll be updated very soon, Rollie is working on it, the last we heard, anyway.

Good thing I went to "stockpile mode"... :D I'll be watching the forums. :) Good luck to all... and to Rollie... three cheers... "WCR, warp speed nine... Engage." ;)

How does one "stockpile?" Just move the census file out to a separate location and let it build a new one? How do you then upload it? Move it back in, and upload, and then replace it and wait 30+ minutes to do the next one so they don't overlap?

Move and rename the LUA to a new name/location (e.g. 1.lua 2.lua etc)..

Then use web-upload to manually upload files in correct order. The filename doesn't matter, as long as it have .LUA extention..

Thanks bunches. Do I have to wait 30 minutes or so between uploads in order for them to not to overwrite the previous upload?

No need to wait 30 minutes.. uploads need to be separated by 15 minutes only

Keep back later today... or tomorrow.. Rollie is nearly ready

There's already at least 50 lvl 90s on my server alone, afraid the levelling was too fast for that one! :)

Is someone going to make very clear, in big letters, that the site is ready for uploading?

I certainly hope that when Rollie finishes the site update he also has a few minutes to spare pasting in sufficiently large letters that fact on the main page and the upload page. :)
