Realm Stats Chart Question

Sorry for the noob question here. I tried to look this up but couldn't find any information on it. Anyway, here goes...

Can someone confirm for me what the last four columns in the "US Realm Stats" chart means? I am assuming the Alliance and Horde columns list the total number of characters seen in the last 30 days, and the overall columns is the sum of these two. However, I am not sure what the "A/H Activity Ratio" column is. I think it means the ratio of active characters on either side that are logged on at the same time. So while the Alliance numbers are higher on StormReaver than Horde, the activity ratio of "1:1.7" means that on average more Horde are logged on than Alliance at the same time. Is this correct?

You're correct in your interpretation, but unfortunately the data suffers from a lack of input. The system has seen more alliance characters, but the alliance side is also censused much more regularly than the horde side. 76 updates in the last 30 days for alliance, but only 3 for horde. Horde activity rate is shown as higher because if you click through to the link, you'll see that there's only three timeslots plotted for horde, but on all three, horde has more people active than alliance. This server could really benefit from someone hordeside consistently running and uploading a census. Although for that matter, their alliance side is kinda spotty too, with only 76 updates.

For perspective, I'm on Earthen Ring, which is moderately highly populated, with about 2:1 ally/horde ratio. My server has over 1900 alliance side updates in the last 30 days, but only 15 horde, so I know that while the overall percentages are fairly close, horde is probably underrepresented versus reality.

Glad to hear I wasn't as slow as I thought. I believe the 3 horde updates are from me, as I have started to run a census on the Horde side whenever I run one on the Alliance side. Thank you for you assistance.
