any chance of lowering the time between uploads though?

I am running 3 accounts for just census

I don't think that will be possible at this time.
Metalbeast has made some changes for handling the uploads and needs to get better infrastructure data before he can make any decisions about upload timing.

no worries then, i'll try to time uploads to every 15-20 mins and see if that works
