that the old x9 twinks are a thing of the past?

Going into the battleground your level and gear effects are normalized to be about the same as everyone else?

No idea..

I haven't done BGs since MoP legendary forced us to do them...
Doing census mainly on Draenor; Raluf - Nimsay - Lusmo - Quixx - Sosyan - Garthog - Trubin - Zalistra - Zesmi and Djaang
