char history ?

Do the history show for names that have not been played. I do a search for a name and nothing shows up but when I try to create a character with that name, it will not go through. The name is on otrher servers but it shows that it is not on my server. Any help would be appeciated. Thanks.

Characters will only show up if they have been seen in a Census. It is possible that someone created a character with your name, logged in once and never logged in again. If that character doesn't get 'seen' then it won't get updated here either.
