Multiple characters on multiple servers

If I play with one character on one server and take a census, then log onto a different character on a different server and take another census, are the results of both census' submitted when I upload the data file? Does it update both characters if I've claimed both characters as mine already?

Yes, it will update both servers and characters.

It says, "Updating Wodanakra..." it doesn't mention the other characters name at all. Is this usual?
