Yeah, if you take a census every time you level and submit it, your level will always be right
This site relies on submissions to track stats, it's not automatic like the wow armory.

yop, the census site doesnt scan your chars ingame, neither does it gather data from the armory. it's the players running the addon ingame and uploading the stuff on the site.

I've noticed lately that the characters I run my census' on are not being included. While my alts haven't leveled in almost two years, I have run dozens of census' with them, but most of them show a "last seen" date of two years ago.
