EU Realms (French)

Post by Bigdid »

Hello Rollie and all,

Having a big time difference (-12h) with the french realms, I will try to migrate from a low populated realm( Les Clairvoyants-Alliance) to a medium populated realm so that I can play with a minimum (400/500) other online players...

To do so I actually use census (last rev 4.14) to get the online players numbers in the morning 6/7/8/9/10 AM french time.

I don't see a quick update in the warcraft realms, 24h or more seems needed to see (not really sure, not always same numbers) my entries online, is this usual?
As I am not sure it is working I upload 2 times 1 with the uniuploader and the other with my navigator; hope at least 1 of the2 is used...

Also I see a difference between the numbers and the graph for the EU-Khaz Modan realm: http://www.warcraftrealms.com/activity.php?serverid=516
the numbers (mine I suppose 2 days ago) gives 7am-100, 8am-165 and 9am-235 but the graph never goes below 800 ?...

As I don't see my numbers showing, I do a reset of the census data once a day cause what I need is the online players numbers at different hours in the morning and I just write them down, hope it doesn't disturb your data processing...

Just to let you know I am covering (for a few days) medium populated EU-french realms like Khaz Modan, Krasus, Les sentinelles, Dalaran, Uldaman, Suramar ...

Thanks for this valuable tool, continue the good work

yes, data is processed every x minutes / hours -> more info in the faq

in fact you can use the search tool to view the online players at different hours.

btw: it is about -6 hours, not -12 ;)

for the server clairvoyants. (but it seems that there are not enough census's taken to display correct values...)

http://www.warcraftrealms.com/activity.php?serverid=516

same for khaz modan. there were absolutely NO census's taken in the early morning hours...activity of 0 should be inexistant

Hi,

Thks for the answer, I confirm the time difference from my location with the french realms is -12h, see my profile infos for explanation.

I also confirm the numbers for morning players/Les clairvoyants at 6am (6pm day before, for me) it was 80 and 79 yesterday.. With so few people you can farm without interference but group quests are problematic and instances are out of scope...

Khaz Modan graph now displays correctly, so thanks to Rollie for his underground work ;)

If some/one/people are interested to have the results for medium populated french realms after my queries I could made a post, I suppose in the general section, let me know.

Hi again,

Finally done the migration to Kirin Tor, nice french RP realm with steady 4000 to 5000 ally players, battlegrounds up often, all is fine, thanks for census help.

The last data (for the past 3 days) doesn't seems to be included only one census at 9am....

Maybe a manual update?

Cheers to all.

Hi Bigdid -

Can you make sure you are logged in when you submit data? That way I can track your updates.

Hi Rollie,

Looking at the usersheet, it seems I am not :(

I was using uniuploader with the correct infos in the log/pass fields, but it seems it was not processed correctly, I made several census on several french servers for the past 2/3 weeks, and it is lost cause I made a reset every 1/2 days.. what a waste!

Anyhow, from now on, I will use my navigator for KirinTor even if longer than uniuploader.

Thanks for answering back.

On business again, stats forKirin Tor updated...

Will try to get uniuploader to work correctly later on.

Continue the good work.
