Slow loading Realms pages?

I've been having problems loading the census information pages/my char information pages lately. The forums area is just fine but the other areas just take forever to load. Is it just me?

yeah, last time that happened Rollie said it was something easy. But he's probably getting some much needed R&R so lets just give it time

I was just wondering if it was just me and I need to threaten my computer with physical harm or if it was just the site and I would just get up and get a snack while the page loads.
I'm sure Rollie will have it all whipped back into shape when he gets back from his holiday rest.

Thanks guys I was wondering also.

Since uploads and forums are ok but the main area is slow. It can take 30 second to 10 minutes for a page to load. My first fear was a virus on my side.

Sure Rollie is on Christmas break and enjoying himself. As we are doing also

I dont have a 30s-10min loading time... you may want to do the usual spybot/ad aware checks and maybe an anti virus scan as well :-/

Nothing on my side. Only warcraftrealms.com none forum area is have issues. And scan computer frequently and have active protection. Both antispyware and powerful firewall.

I was out in the foothills of NC with only a crummy dial up connection, so I didn't do any 'work' =)

I'm back now and sigs are back online. Site appears to be running fine now as well, could have just been a bit of higher traffic at that given time or something.

You have no idea... it's not just dial up, it's BAD dial up. Ancient phone lines in that area make getting a connection higher than 24k next to impossible.
