Last Submission Result Changed

Something strange happened to my submission from May 20th, 2013 at 08:05:54. Last week it was listed with a 'Y' which I think means that it was successfully processed. However, looking back at it today it has changed to an 'E'.

Anyone know what could have happened?

I don't know what happened, but it has happened to a lot of us. I suspect it had to do with the migration, because there were pieces of data lost from roughly the week preceding it, and now there are files showing up with odd results displayed from that same time period. An E file should not also be displaying counts of successfully processed characters. Those are showing up in that time period. It is very odd. It does not, however, seem to be an ongoing issue. At least, I have not yet seen any files displayed like that from after file processing resumed.

I expect last night Metalbeast forced a reprocess of uploads which got the data counted and into the database, but probably bypassed or confused the php coding that displays the status for each of those reprocessed files.

As long as the characters get into the database, I'm not too concerned about past flaky flags.

Time to push as much uploads as we can at the system to see if ongoing updates process as quickly as I've been lead to expect.

According to the calculator the numbers were added to the new and updated for the month so presumably they hit your totals also.
