Does anyone really know what time it is?

Not necessarily a bug, just a comment.

Even though WarcraftRealms.com has moved west when Metalbeast brought up the new hardware the Database machine time was maintained as if it were still based in Austin Texas. (A normal action to stop any time stamp problems for the Database.. as you don't want conflicting timing data.)

But I just realized that the Forum time stamps are based on UTC-8 (aka Pacific Standard Time [PST]).

It was a little disconcerting when I noticed the time stamp for my last message was for an hour before I had signed on to the WiFi location with my laptop!

Hi There. Time is always server time. That is what I tell my raiders.

But for WCR, I just set the time to PST. This should match with its location and hopefully will make all the forums happy.

Seeing into the future is awesome though Bringoutyourdead ;)

On the subject of times, Database stats currently says:

Last processed file was uploaded on 2013-07-11 02:52:18.

However, my profile shows

Jul 11, 13 04:48:34 703 2872 Y

One of those has to be wrong... a processed file two hours after the last processed file? ;) Strangely database stats has the current time correct in comparison with a file I submitted at that time to check, but the processing is a bit weird; hopefully I'll catch it when my last submission gets processed to see if they agree next time...

Edit: yeah, again... 0 unprocessed files in queue:

Last processed file was uploaded on 2013-07-11 04:12:52.

Ok, I think the error was from MySQL not liking the time change at all. I had to restart MySQL. And in regards to Belair - I located an internal TimeZone variable that I have updated to Los_Angeles rather than Chicago time. I believe the two reported issues are fixed.

Please let me know if you see any other date/time anomalies.

Thanks again for taking the time to report.
