It's that time of the month again and we have calculated the May concurrency numbers provided by the <a href='http://www.warcraftrealms.com/censusplu ... susPlus UI Addon.

May continued to show a decline in concurrent player activity, which is not unexpected. With Sunwell having been opened a few weeks now, Age of Conan having been released, and a couple of weeks yet before Arena Season 4 debuts, there isn't much to keep many players coming back for more.

With Season 4 coming out soon, I would expect to see a bit of an uptick, and we'll see if it is enough to level out the inevitable decline as more people log on less due to summer and content stagnation.

After Season 4, there is nothing in view to keep folks playing until Wrath of the Lich King is released later this year. With the glut of upcoming MMO's, it will be interesting to see how many players stick it out and aren't stolen away to other games.

We continue to be light on submissions for several realms so help is greatly appreciated! Even 1 person can make a significant contribution, and all help is appreciated. To see if your realms is one of the less covered, check out the Most Wanted page!

And of course, just by submitting, you can win great prizes such as $100 Amazon gift certificates! It's easy to do, it helps the site and it can be profitable to you! So help by submitting data today!

The diagram for US & EU only shows concurrency numbers until April, somehow May has not been updated.

Eventhought the numbers seem to be going down, why does the % figure for Level 70 players always seem to staying the same. On the several servers that I supply data for, the figure always seems to be around the 49-51% figure.

Yeah I've noticed that before, the ratio of non 70s and 70s on mature realms always seems to be about 50/50, though if the realm has been recommended recently it changes to anything upto about 66/33.

I suspect that people are more likely to quit once they are level 70 but there's a constant stream of new players reaching 70 to keep the proportion the same (and new players obviously starting the game or alts).
