Sageras -US <PVP> possible realm imbalance?

Post by bringoutyourdead »

horde 87
alliance 1284

is a typical mid-afternoon census count

As is the case with many of my census takers since the time to complete a census run is so short he Horde guy hasn't moved more then 10 feet from the initial entry point for his race.

Some day I think I'll get him up to level 20 and place him in a typical horde pvp enable zone.... I might need to write another addon.. Mean Time to gank.

Swap factions and those look like Mug'thol numbers. Bliz should merge those two and even things out.

Good to see that some realms are truly balanced

Hakkar 45:45

while I've seen factions as low as 18 in the middle of the day.. I think a total of 90 on a realm is the lowest I've seen.

AS far as merging realms... or at least virtualizing them on to the same server, I'm sure that is in the plans for Blizzard when the new MMO is ready for live machines.

90 total for a realm? That's sick and the 250 toons that are level 86-90 are all male. I know that a good % of female toons are actually guys but I wonder how many male toons are actually female players.

Can't speak for others but I'm a female player, and my two lvl 90 characters are both male :) Pure chance that those are the classes I like best tbh, as I have plenty of female characters too, just go with a race/class/gender combination I like, and it happened the two which suit me best weren't my own gender!

I was careful in selecting the sex of first few characters I created back with WoW patch 1.3 (March 2005) and making sure that I created one of each combination faction/race/sex of characters (and more or less randomly each class.)

Since then I've created hundreds of characters starting even before I registered here,(for a while I was one of the unregistered), and while I will sometimes bother picking race and/or class (normally when patches change how a class plays) I just let the sex of the alt be whatever the software offered.
