BC patch = no more census
so it looks like the BC patch screwed up the census plugin, i dont have the icon anymore. i see a post on the main page about a new version, should i delete all the old folders before installing that version, or just overwright everything?
You need to enable "Out of Date" mods. You can do this by click on the Addons button at the bottom left corner of your Character Selection screen before entering the game. There is a check box near the top of that window that says to load Out of Date mods. Just check that and it should work.
But as with any patch you should check to see if any of your mods need updating or if it will work fine. In the case of CensusPlus, it works fine and doesn't need to be updated. Just check that option and it will work.
Rollie should be releasing a new version in the coming days in time for the Burning Crusade expansion release on Tuesday which will be able to track the data for the new races and zones.

I always paste the files over the old ones, no problems so far =)
Although this can be a problem is the author changes a filename or removes a file that isn't needed etc... Those old files may interfere with the new files and cause problems so it really is good practice if you remove the old file and directory before updating the addon. Your saved data with all your chars and settings will still be there since its stored in another directory.
