Hi. I did try to search for answer to this question but couldn't find one.
I'm a bit stupid and I'm having trouble understanding the data on the EU realms page. http://www.warcraftrealms.com/eu_realmstats.php
I can't work out how the given totals of Horde and Ally add up to the ratios stated, eg Ally 10,867 (67%) Horde 5,297 (33%) Ratio 1:1.4
What am I missing?
I need to understand this as I made the mistake of rolling a Horde toon on Silvermoon-EU (D'oh!) and I need to find a server with a resonable ratio to move to.
Thanks in advance.

Apples and Oranges..
The Ally and Horde numbers are count of character names seen and reported by all the census takers on realm since the start of census.
The Ratio is the Active number of players.. i.e. seen in last 30 days.
Using Silvermoon as your example.. the total numbers give a ration of only 16.1:1
but the active ration is much worse at 24.9:1
to get a better picture of the realm.. look at the actual realm page
