I uploaded data for the Shadow Council server on Sunday evening and Monday evening. Yet, when I look at the census info for the server, the last update was on June 10th (Friday). Are uploads being processed, and should I bother uploading data?

What is your character name? And what faction? I'll look for your data and see if/why it hasn't processed.

I have the same problem... my sig info in 3 months out of date...

I took a Census from within the game logged out verified the data saved to my UI variables save file was current(SavedVariables.lua).

I then uploaded this file to the website for processing via http://www.warcraftrealms.com/upload.php.

I am using this VERSION 2.1 - 6/7/2005 downloaded from http://www.warcraftrealms.com/censusplus.php and Unziped into my /World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns/ directory.

I did note that you state

Only data submitted with version 2.0 of CensusPlus will be accepted

Does this still hold true?

You also state:

The longest amount of time that could pass before seeing your updated data is 30 minutes

This simply has not happened for me...Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated!

I'm having the same problem. I'm uploading census data from EU-Alleria (Horde) almost daily, but it doesn't show up in the Census. I'm using UniUploader 1.05, with the

As file field name I've set SavedVariables.
I'm only uploading the CensusPlus_Database variable (UniUploader settings: Pre-parse:yes, Variables to keep:CensusPlus_Database), not the complete file (I like some privacy).

My Census-Mod version is 2.1.

It looks like your data has been processed. I updated your sig to reflect the update. It looks like you are doing everything correctly so just keep it up =)

Remember that the sigs will not update but once every 24 hours. You can force an update by visiting the sig maker page and hitting the submit button to simulate 'creating' a new sig.

Also, the process actually runs every 4 hours at this point. I have been working with the update process to find a good time period to do the updates.

I found your submission from last night. There is no Census data later than 06/11 in the submission (and this is the latest shown on the site). Are you sure you have run a Census since then?

I was wondering if I'm doing the correct procedure: I take the Census, then upload the SavedVariable.lua file while the game is still running, once uploaded I press the purge button in the mod. Then next hour I repeat. Is that right, or should I leave the Mod running all day, taking a census at hourly periods, up load at the end of my session and purge when I next log in.

The process you describe would unfortunately not get you any results! The only time your SavedVariables.lua file is updated is when you 'cleanly' exit the game or do a '/console reloadui' command.

I suggest you do the following. Enable the auto - census option so it will just take a census for you. Turn Verbose off so you don't get spammed.

Just let it run! And upload your data every couple of days or so.

You can purge when you like, or keep your data, up to you!

Well, I'm glad I asked then, thank you.

I uploaded my census data about 12 hours ago and it hasn't processed it yet. Does it corrupt the census if I take one from both factions on a server? I took a census with Harold (alliance) and Graz (Horde) on Eonar.

I'm just curious why my guild is listed on one sig but not the other... as far as I know bouth census's are correct...

I have uploaded the census several times the past 2 days and it still shows last updated on June 13th. I am following the proper methods becuase it worked before when I uploaded. I have it set to auto run when I login each time so I know the data is there , it's just not updating for some reason.

I am pretty sure all 3 are problems with guild information. I'll be releasing an updated version of Census+ sometime this weekend that will address these problems.

I uploaded some data this morning and characters within our guild, mine included, have not been updated yet.

Is this because the update process has not run yet? Are the update times published so we have an idea when our character information changes?

The updates are currently scheduled to run every 4 hours but can sometimes be delayed by up to 24 hours. There was a database hiccup yesterday that caused me to get backed up a bit and we're still a ways behind. It will take a little time to catch back up again.
