I would assume your CensusPlus.lua file is corrupt, and should be deleted. I'd wait for some response from Rollie on that one, though.

Are you really logged in? If you are, you should see "Log out [ Rof ]" instead of "Log in" near the top of the page. If you're entering a username when posting as a guest, you'll get the following error message after submitting:
Sorry, but this username has already been taken.
If you see that, you haven't logged in to the forums yet. (Forum login is seperate from the main site login.)

No, probably the one on the entry screen (type
www.warcraftrealms.com).
In the top left hand corner, there's the search box, plus "Login", etc. Rollie doesn't have it so that you can login to forums from there; one most login to the forums from here.

Make sure that you are uploading your CensusPlus.lua not the .lua.bak

I was unable to determine what version of CensusPlus you are using. The latest version is 3.2. Please download the latest version and rerun CensusPlus. Your data will not be accepted unless submitted using the latest version of CensusPlus. You can get the latest version here :
http://www.warcraftrealms.com/censusplus.php
Thank you for your contribution!
It might be also of note that i am behind a router that acts like a firewall - not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Did you exit the game before you attempted to upload?

Something else I noticed (not sure if it is relevant so I post anyways) is that when you are using Cosmos it might install a previous version (ie. 3.1) over your freshly patched CensusPlus folder. At least that is what happend to me a couple of times until I created the CensusPlus.nopatch file in the addons directory.

I use CT Mod. I switched to that a long time ago after i got tired of cosmos breaking every patch and at one point broke so bad i had to remove it just to be able to load the game. I had heard of CT Mod from a friend - checked it out and haven't looked back since. Mad props to the guys over at CT Mod! They really seem to know what they are doing and seem to extensively test their stuff out.
I only recently heard about this site and downloaded the addon. Pretty cool stuff! I created a char on a newer server that Blizzard is allowing tranfers to and took a census. When I tried to upload the data, i got the error message that i submitted to this forum in hopes of trying to find out what i did wrong - if anything.

I only use CT_RaidAssist. I tried CT_Mod, but I didn't want most of their add-ons even though the interface is pretty nice. And, because I liked some of the add ons that Cosmos used in their pack, but I didn't like Cosmos, I just found links to the individual add ons. Then I found Titan, and life was good.
Anyway,
Osimeo, is it possible that you're not uploading the correct file?
In your Interface/AddOns/CensusPlus directory, there is a CensusPlus.lua You DO NOT want to upload this file. Instead, in your WTF/Account/AccountName/SavedVariables directory, there is also a CensusPlus.lua You DO want to upload this file. Also, be careful, because you most likely also have a CensusPlus.lua.bak file in that directory as well. If you upload that file, I believe that it will upload, but it won't be the most recent (not positive on that though).
Yes, you either need to log out or reload your UI in order to commit the data to your .lua file. You can reload your UI by using the command /console reloadui (I hope that's right, I just use titan reloadui).

it works also when the game is minimized and you upload the data after cenus has been finished

i think you mean .lua.bak

No, I mean .lua
In the Interface/AddOns/CensusPlus directory there is no .lua.bak, but there is a .lua file that contains all the coding for the add on. The .lua.bak is located in the WTF/Account/AccountName/SavedVariables directory.

You can upload any time you want, but you won't have the most recent data unless your UI has been reloaded, because the WoW client doesn't write to SavedVariables .lua files until a reload or log out occurs.
I believe even using your hearthstone, or entering/exiting an instance will reload your UI. Mages teleport spells might even do it, but I'm doubtful on that.
Basically, if you see a loading screen, your UI is reloading.
