/who optional parameters??

Post by sircruller »

I've noticed that CensusPlus uses all sorts of nifty extra optional parameters to refine the results it gets from /who, like c-, r-, ##-##, et cetera. Is there a place where I can find a listing of all the optional parameters for /who? I tried Googling... but to little avail. I'm very curious. :)

I dont know if there are anymore but some of the parameters I know are:

z- for Zone
g- for Guild
c- for Class
r- for Race

You can also just type in a string of characters without the z-/r-/etc

eg: "/who 60 priest Ironforge" will find all of the lvl 60 Priests in Ironforge.

But it really doesn't matter what order you put it in... Like you can say:
ironforge priest 60
and get the same results. The who list is very well done and you can even do ranges as well like Census+ does.

I found that if you don't use the qualifiers like g- c- z-, then the text you give will be matched against ALL available fields. For example, if you type /who Bleak, you get not only guild members of bleak, but also anyone with the word Bleak in his or her name. By contrast, /who g-"Bleak" only returns people with bleak in their guild name. Only a slight difference, but since this thread is all about details, might as well throw that in there.
