After patch 2.0 came to be my census is way off. My server (Darrowmere/Horde) is showing 68 ppl online and that's at prime time, I'm sure it's well over that, also the census is taking well close to an hour to run, where before that patch it would take minutes. Anyone run into this type of problem?

What do you mean it is showing 68 people online?

I could see census snapshots taking longer due to more people playing after patch, but I would be shocked to see it take close to an hour. I have seen snapshots take 20 - 30 minutes with a fairly populated server though.

Quick update, I started the snapshot at 1:37pm and it's now 2:57 as I'm typing this and in 1 hour 20 minutes census shows 99 people and is still counting. Any idea why it's taking so long?

Something is very wrong =/

Can you tell me what other mods you are running? Any that might be interfering with the /who frame or something?

Whew, thats alot let me try to list some:

Pretty much all the favorites everyone else runs + the following:

Trinity Bars
Recipe Radar
Natur enemy cast bar
Sorren's timers
Zepplin master
KTM threat meter
Bagnon
StanceSets
QuestIon
Announceit!
A few SCT addons
MailIt

That's about it outside of the obvious CT, atlas, etc. Trying to find someone else on the server thats using census and see if they have problems.

Have you tried to run it with verbose mode on? Maybe you can see what it is doing, like spamming certain names of people.

I made a character on your realm and did a full census run in 6mins 46 seconds and I found 1415 people. So it must be one of those addons. I personally use only SCT on that list.

Edit: I know I was having a lot of trouble with Censusplus when I first upgrade it to this new patch 2.0. I eventually had to completely remove the folder from my interface and start over (yes losing all of my data and census info) because something just wasn't working right. I was getting all sorts of errors and was forced to close Censusplus by the Blizzard UI. It said that Census was trying to do an action that is only allowed by Blizzard UI.
I completely removed it, then reinstalled a fresh copy of it and I have had no problems since.

Maybe try doing that and see if that works.

You might be running into one of the many general bugs Bliizard was kind enough to introduce, they wanted heavy mod users to delete not only the interface folder with old mods but also all the saved and cached data due to incompatibilities that caused serious lag, frame rate drops from 60 to 5-6 fps, memory use from mods through the roof and other fun stuff, specific characters locked and unable to even log into game successfully etc.

If that is what you're running into chances are you won't find the specific issue easily as some of the things are related to how wow caches things and a clear relation to a specific mod can be hard to find.

Not trying to be a pain, just mentioning it since people seem to have been hitting heads rather forcefully against the wall trying to figure some of these issues out.

=update=

I turned off all my mods except Census and it took only about 5-6 minutes to run thru, so obviously something is interfering :(

Do you know if any of the addons you are using that could cause problems with tracking updates to the friend's frame (also who results)?
