I write this to the developers of Census+ addon. I'm aware that this question has been answered at least twice, but still why wouldn't you consider support of Russian realms in the addon itself? Surely to add cyrillic support to the existing database is difficult, but I would personally use the addon itself just for scan of current online and build my own private ingame database.
I've been analyzing the code and the biggest problem is that even /who command is localized in russian version. For example, the filter by race key is not 'r-', but 'р-', etc. I actually managed to make certain changes to make it work for me in current patch 4.3 and it seems to be working fine. Still it would be fine to have official support for this.

I think the problems are that 1) the one developer of the addon is very busy with real life stuff and of late hasn't found time to check in on us at all; we're still waiting on new realms being added to the database. And 2) even if he had a little more time, I'd assume he doesn't speak Russian, which would obviously make it rather difficult and timeconsuming to make it work.
Personally I think it'd be great to have more realms covered, and to have fully localised versions for each language, but unfortunately I don't see it happening anytime soon, so long as there's only one person working on the addon, and he's not around

Hmmm... that's understandable. But I can try and maintain russian version. I don't really ask for russian realms support in the database on this site as this probably would require recreation of entire database which is a hassle.
I would really want to contact him to ask about this. There are some changes in code I had to do to make it work. There were some strange null value errors line 2130 where it counts the characters by class. Replaced 'pairs' to 'ipairs' to not return null. Seems to work really fine for me after that.

Sounds good to me if you can maintain it, I don't think Rollie (the main developer here) would object either; I think the database thing would indeed be a problem but can't see any problems over the mod if you're able to adapt it
