We haven't been able to do much if any testing lately what with all the Hardware / network /software down times on Blizzards part.
On the good side this might mean that when WoD goes live we won't see that much of a queue/crash period as we have seen in the past (well we can hope)
two major Blizzard issues are:
* What are they doing with level 1-19 /who queries...
* When will they fix the broken sound system.. something they hadn't even realized they had broken until recently.
CensusPlus is ready as things stand... There are some changes I want to make but my reference material has gone MIA.. it is material owned by the local public library.. and shared by a number of Silicon Valley addon writers.. I should have had it over a week ago.. but the library has it in transit to my local branch and can't locate it at this time. sigh
If I can't get the info in time.. it isn't a release breaker.
Till then getting ready to defend Azeroth from the Iron Horde at the Dark Portal when 6.0 goes life in about a month... hope to see you there.
new release work mostly on hold these days...

WoW v6.0.2 and WoD are going to be interesting releases..
as in the curse "May you live in interesting times"
If things were going as hoped we should be seeing the 6.0.2 pre-XPac release next week. Which gives a month of play and stability before the XPac switch is thrown on the servers.
The Turnip.. aka the pre-release Quality Assurance Community Manager (boy is that a mouth full) has stated we should expect to see the Beta & PTR realms getting more reasonable with builds lasting for awhile.
But as of this time we are still on a new software build nearly every day pace.
One of the downsides of my living a few hundred miles north of Blizzard HQ is that I'm on the same time schedule as they are..
just as I get time to sit down and fire up Battlenet to see if PTR is functional (including character copy!) they are downing the realms to load the next build..
an 8 hour process, what with internal QA etc.
So there goes another day that I might test potential problems.
The good side is that as far as I can tell CensusPlus is ready for 6.0.2 and WoD... except.
I need to back out some sound stuff..
I've been playing mind games with our Beta Testers
There is one area to test that I don't think we can get to until 6.0.2 goes live.
Blizzard has said they made a change that we need for support of data from CensusPlus to www.WarcraftRealms.com, but we can't see it until they actually have US and EU regions live...
I'm afraid that means we are going to have a short null period where we can't accept data until the region verification code is confirmed as functional.

did you get the one working that had the three different Census completion sounds?
the joke was.. snippets from:
sound 1 zombies.. all we want to do is eat your brains
Sound 2 Bee Gees Staying alive
sound 3 ending track from game Portal... yup the cake was a lie.
The release version will have the standard default sound for all 3 slots..
it is up to you the user to create and copy your own sound snippets.
verified tonight that build 19000 has the new code.. but also the PTR realms all report the same results
as expected... which is why we won't know until 6.0.2 goes live in both US and EU regions.

Yep, works fine - as with my past feedback i think it'd be more user-friendly if it had an indication of which is selected (there's three buttons, none are highlighted in any way, and giving a filename would be even better), but it all works aside from that
Perhaps I'm not on the latest version though, I'm on 68 at present, it's the last I received from you.
