What CensusPlus might look like for Battle of Azeroth
This is Horde side for the example

Cool
Might be worth a little market research on what screen resolutions people use nowadays, that's looking in danger of getting larger than some people's screens if it's not resizable (which might make layout stuff go very wonky), especially as they've not ruled out adding even more allied races... maybe narrower bars with smaller icons may become necessary? Of course levels going up to 120 will force some more width anyway... just have to hope for the best I guess

That's new..bringoutyourdead wrote:Correct a realm has to be selected before any guild information can be displayed.
I have NEVER clicked realm to see guilds before, simply because I play on unconnected realm, it have never been a thing..

Thanks to FuxieDX and Balgair for the heads up... as I was unaware Blizzard had activated the Pre-purchase process.
I need to back out the BoA changes and test the Race tracking... which means I need to see some new races in game.. (shouldn't be a problem)
I will also need help with the exact new race names in the supported European languages for our translation files.
I should have a testing version later today or tomorrow... and then Metalbeast needs the new census file.. to update the site display and data tables.
I have sent him a heads up by email.

Names taken from Wowhead. If anyone want to contest this, be my guest.. Personally, I won't be installing new language files

Zandalari Troll and Dark Iron Dwarf are not mentioned yet, and QnA from yesterday confirms they won't be available until people have reached level 120 (which is probably day 1).

first round testing of new version will start shortly
beta testers in US and EU regions have new versions.
the localizations are not in place and there are a few obvious bugs to squash.
EDIT: final code release for today has been sent to testers.
edited the localization and yes fixed the German text.

Just wondering...
Why a DH icon for Zandalari/Dark Iron?
I can see, that the correct icon, might no be in-game yet, but you why not a question mark or something else, that says "real icon doesn't exist yet", rather than something that looks wrong (DH is not a race)?
Apart from that, Nightborne seems to work...
Highmountain are either flawed, or not accepted as well in the player base, as I had expected... For now, I go with "not as well accepted" option..

Also....
Maybe Allied Races should have their own window to be displayed in?
At BlizzCon, Blizzard said these 6 races would come..

.....And more was planned..
So basically, when first race after Zandalari/DID arrives, we will have to remake the design again..

Yeah, they're not so popular, I've manually /who'd them and compared with Censusplus results, there just aren't very many! Same goes for Lightforged Draenei, in fact even more so, as there's almost no visual difference to regular draenei; at least Highmountain are a bit more distinct by the horns.FuxieDK wrote:Highmountain are either flawed, or not accepted as well in the player base, as I had expected... Not a great surprise that Nightborne and Void Elf are the most popular; elves always seem popular, and these are giving looks which weren't previously available (to the faction), so bound to be more popular than minor variants of existing less-popular races. I myself have a Nightborne planned when I buy my preorder, but am struggling to come up with a Highmountain; all that appeals to me is druid and I already have a tauren druid...
